I am intrigued by Muhammad’s message from God, as well as
the situations that surrounded him as a young child to an adult. Muhammad was a
very fortunate individual. When his parents died, he was not put up for
adoption but instead stayed with his uncle to retain his Bedouin values. At an
older age, he married a successful businesswoman and had more time to relax
instead of work. Most importantly, he had a charming, charismatic personality. As
he became older, he gained much respect for his wisdom. Muhammad was a perfect
vessel for receiving revelations from God. The Qur’an appears to focus on the
needs of present-day society as well as customs. I say this due to the amount
of pillars that stress hajj and giving offering. This mindset would ultimately
bring a lot of revenue to the continually evolving city. It would also create a moral standard
such as its addressing of the other people of the book and the Bedouin culture.
